Economic Growth in the Second Quarter

In light of the fully-released April, May, and partly-released June leading indicators, we expect GDP to increase by 4.7 percent year-on- year in the second quarter of 2023. According to seasonal and calendar- adjusted data, we forecast quarter-on-quarter GDP growth to be 1.6 per- cent.
