In this period, losses in non-agricultural employment stopped and employment increased. However, the non-agricultural labor force which had decreased in the last three periods, increased as well. As such, the number of unemployed reached 4.3 million. In manufacturing, employment losses were limited to 4 thousand, losses continued in construction, and employment increased in services.
